Che cosa sono i Cookies?

I cookies sono stringhe di testo di piccole dimensioni che i siti visitati dall´utente inviano al suo terminale (di solito al browser) dove vengono memorizzati per essere poi ritrasmessi agli stessi siti alla successiva visita del medesimo utente. Si individuano due macro-categorie: cookie “tecnici” e cookie “di profilazione”.

L´uso di cookie “tecnici” (variabili di sessione i cui valori memorizzati sul disco fisso del dispositivo possono comunque essere cancellati: è possibile anche disabilitare i cookies seguendo le indicazioni fornite dai principali browser, vedi più sotto) è strettamente limitato alla trasmissione di identificativi di sessione (costituiti da numeri casuali generati dal server) e di dati di utilizzo del software necessari per consentire l´esplorazione sicura ed efficiente del sito: le variabili (cookies) di sessione possono evitare il ricorso a tecniche informatiche potenzialmente pregiudizievoli per la riservatezza della navigazione degli utenti e non consentono l´acquisizione di dati personali identificativi dell´utente.

Questo sito non fa in alcun modo uso di cookie “di profilazione” (volti a creare profili relativi all´utente ed utilizzati al fine di inviare messaggi pubblicitari in linea con le preferenze manifestate dallo stesso nell´ambito della navigazione in rete).
